<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method which can recover evaporated gas as liquid having little danger of explosion and containing none or a very small amount of air by cooling pressurized evaporated gas to a temperature near the freezing point to liquefy. CONSTITUTION:Vapor gas generating when a tank 1 is charged with volatile organic solvent having a freezing point above 0 deg.C, is introduced into an absorption tower 3 where the vapor gas is contacted with absorption liquid to absorb gas. Then air which is not absorbed by absorption liquid, is discharged through an exhaust pipe 8. The absorption liquid discharged from the absorption tower 3 is supplied to a vacuum evaporator 10 where the evaporated gas of organic solvent is separated from the absorption liquid. The resulting absorption liquid is supplied from the vacuum evaporator 10 to a liquid supply pipe 6 and then recycled to the absorption tower 3. The evaporated gas separated in the vacuum evaporator 10 is pressurized to a pressure below 2kg/cm<2>, and cooled to a temperature near the freezing point to liquefy and recover. Unliquefied gas is introduced into the absorption tower 3 3 where the gas is contacted with the absorption liquid.</p> |
