PURPOSE:To provide the subject method comprising the steps of inserting a core having recessions and a cutting blade into a plastic tube and bringing pressure bodies into abutment with recessions from the out side of the shifting tube thereby to prevent the movement of the core and form cut-groove for seal opening. CONSTITUTION:A core 2 provided with recessions 3 and 3' is inserted beforehand into a heat-shrinking plastic tube 1 such as a vinyl chloride resin tube or the like. Rollers 4 and 4' as pressure bodies are disposed at the outer surface of the tube 1 so that they are fitted in the recessions 3 and 3' of the core 2, and the tube 1 is caused to continuously travel in the direction indicated by arrow A. The core 2 does not move in accordance with the tube 1, and a cut-groove is cut on the inner surface of the tube 1 by the blade 5 being installed at the core 2. USE:For use in cap sealing . |
