<p>Fully lined ready-to-wear lounge jackets are mfd. by first prepg. in separate but parallel steps from their respective blanks, the sleeves, the lining assembly including jacket and sleeve lining, the collar with its web and trimming and the jacket body. Prepd. parts are finished in the following manner. Collar and trimming are seamed with the jacket body; sleeves are attached to the jacket body; the thus seamed assembly and the lining assembly are ironed separately, and finally the lining assembly is associated with the seamed assembly by joining the arm pit zones with spot stitches, basting the trimming and casting over the lower ends of sleeves and jacket lining.</p> |
