<p>A closed-meshed but permeable wire weave, for retention of fine-grain material, esp. backfilling material, is used with a support framework fitting tangentially against the steel profiles, in the network for mine gallery support. The warp and woof wires (11, 14) of the same dia., form a rectangular mesh (12). In the warp direction the framework (17) is made from in-woven reinforcing units (28, 29), and in the woof direction from wider-dia. lengthways bars. The latter are fitted between a group of woof wires, instead of a woof wire, and are bonded into the warp wires, or welded onto the reinforcing units.</p> |
