<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to select a combination of channels without resetting recording and reproducing operation members, by using a pause button as a selecting member for channels to be recorded or reproduced. CONSTITUTION:Recording-reproduction alternation switches 11A-11D are at recording positions, and switches 10A and 10B operated by a pause button is at 1st selection positions. An input signal to be recorded is recorded on 1st and 2nd channels 20A and 20B of a magnetic head through main amplifier 27B. With the pause button at a neutral position, a pause mode becomes effective. With the button changed over to the 2nd selection position, the recording of only 2nd channel 20B starts. When switches 11A-11D only are changed over to reproduction positions, the reproduction output of channel 20B is supplied to speaker 22 by way of main amplifier 27A. With the pause button returned to the 1st selection position next, the reproduction output of channel 20A is supplied to speaker 22 and that of channel 20B is to external terminal 25B by way of amplifier 27B.</p> |
