<p>The hinge for welding onto a metal gate, particularly a safety gate, has two outer hinge members, and an inner hinge member between them. In cross section, they are the same shape, with a rounded eye for the hinge pin, and an L shaped extension (1) for welding to the corners of the gates. When these extensions are in line after welding in position, they determine the spacing between the edges of the gates, giving sufficient room for inclusion of resilient buffer blocks with the gates.</p> |
