SOUND IMAGE NORMAL CONTROL UNIT

PURPOSE:To ensure the sound image normal over a wide range by compounding the right and left channel output signals of the latter reverberation sound signal via the direction setting circuit and the initial reflection sound signal production circuit and then supplying the composite output signal to the right and left sides of the headphone after amplification. CONSTITUTION:Direction setting circuit 29 compounds the arrival signal directly from the input aural signal and distributes it to the right and left channel output ends; initial reflection sound signal formation circuit I compounds the initial reflection signal from the input aural signal to distribute it to the right and left channels; and latter reverberation sound signal production circuit II compounds the latter reverberation signal from the input aural signal to distribute it to the right and left channels respectively. Then the right and left channel output signals of circuit 29, I and II are added 38 and 39, and the output of circuits 38 and 39 are amplified 50 and 51 to be supplied to right side 52R and left side 52L of headphone 52 respectively. As a result, the sound image normal can be secured over a wide range.
