Hollow articles composed of complementary shells which are made of polyester resin impregnated glass fibre fabric are produced in split mould halves by placing on the inner face of the join between the shells a reinforcing fabric which is impregnated with a corresp. thermosetting resin. On thermosetting the shells and the fabric assembly an integral joint is formed at the join. Unsightly external seam is not produce as in prior processes.
