The uniselector is set to a specified step, and used in telephone exchanges with central control. An indicator is inserted in the motor circuit. It responds to each motor step and delivers a pulse to a separate counter moved by it by one step until an electrically marked number of counter steps is reached. The counter step is marked by a central control before the beginning of the process. After the uniselector is stopped, and if a further hunting operation is needed, it is controlled as usual until a new marked member is reached by the counter.
|
