PURPOSE:To readily read a number of pieces of information in a passive sonar recorder by recording operation mode and other operating state information by characters on a recording paper. CONSTITUTION:In a passive sonar recorder for recording information such as frequency analysis and bearing of sound source on a recording paper by scanning recording means by processing an acoustic signal from the sound source, it records, for example, time from a clock, an operation mode from an operation panel and trouble state from a trouble detector at every ten minutes by characters. Its recording unit 23 displays time information 19 from a time counter, operation modes 20- 21 from the operation panel, and trouble state from a trouble detector in characters to be readily read and analyzed. |
