Oxadiazole derivs. of formula (I) and their acid-addn. salts are new (where R1 is H, halogen, alkyl or alkoxy; R2 is halogen, alkyl or alkoxy; R3 is H, alkyl or acyl; n = 0-4; where all alkyl and alkoxy gps. are 1-4C). Cpds. (I) are antihypertensive agents giving large and long-lasting redn. in blood pressure at daily doses of 1-10 mg.
