<p>The vapouriser crucible is for alloys whose ingredients have different vapour pressures, from the molten state in a vacuum evaporation system. An evaporating material is continuously fed to the molten metal at one or more points. In the crucible, are one or more narrowed portions, forming flow throttles, and dividing the contents into several different zones. One or more throttles can be formed by a ridge extending upwards from the crucible bottom for part of the height to which it is filled.</p>
