Plastic two=piece shell for capacitors - with thermosetting wafer inserted between capacitor body and lower shell-wall

A capacitor has a casing consisting of two rectangular shells, with the capacitor connections leading out through the joint between the shells. After the capacitor body has been inserted into the first shell, a small amount of thermosetting insulating material is applied between the terminals to fill the space between capacitor body and inner shell wall. After the joint has been welded together, a heat treatment, combined with the drying of the lettering, cures the insulating material. This saves the long (12h) waiting time for the solidification of a 100% embedded capacitor before the next operations can begin.
