A valve (417) is mounted by friction around an obstructing finger (414) and is driven by the finger in both directions, its displacement being limited by an upper stop such that when it is applied against this stop the communication opening (405) between the two compartments is closed and so that when it is moved away from this stop, the opening is freed. A lower stop limits the travel of the valve on the finger. The valve (417) comprises a tubular part (442) which fits onto the finger (414) and a head (418) whose diameter is greater than the opening (405). When it is desired to eject a metered quantity of a product for oral hygiene, pressure is exerted on the push disc (420). The finger (414) is displaced upwards and drives the valve (417) which closes the opening (405). The compression of the compartment (407) has the result of ejecting a quantity of the product through the orifice (421) and a pipe (425). When the pressure exerted on the disc (420) is released, the head (418) of the valve (417) instantaneously frees the opening (405) which avoids the suction of liquid or air inside the pipe (425). <IMAGE> |
