where A is hydrogen, F, Cl, Br, NO2, CF3, C1-4 alkyl or C1-4alkoxy; R<1> is hydrogen, C1-4alkyl, C4-6 cycloalkylmethyl, C1-4acyl or benzoyl;
R<2> is hydrogen,

or -(CH2)nNXY; n is 2 or 3; X and Y independently are hydrogen or C1-4 alkyl or together are linked to form -(CH2)4-, -(CH2)5- or -CH2CH2OCH2CH2-; or a pharmaceutically suitable acid addition salt thereof where R<2> is not hydrogen, are prepared on the following way:

<??>The new compounds of the formula I are antidepressants (e.g. O- [2-(dimethyl-amino)ethyl]oxime of 1a, 10b-dihydrodibenze [3,4,6,7] cyclohept [1,2-b]-N-methyl-azirin-6(1H)-one) or intermediates for their preparation.
