<p>PURPOSE:To provide a stabilizing agent for mixed fuel composed of powdery coal and fuel oil, forming an easily dispersible fluffy precipitate, and containing a nonionic surface acitve agent composed of a specific block copolymer as an effective component. CONSTITUTION:A stabilizer for a coal/oil mixed fuel, containing a nonionic surface active agent composed of a block copolymer obtained by the copolymerization of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, and having a structure of the formula (R<1>,<2> are H, or 1-6C alkyl; 1+n is molar number of added ethylene oxide and is 30- 300; m is molar number added propylene oxide and is 15-80; the content of the ethylene oxide in the whole composition is 40-85wt%). The stabilizing agent is added to a mixed fuel in an amount of 0.01-1wt%, pref. 0.05-0.5wt%. The coal powder is stably dispersed in the fuel oil, and the precipitate is made fluffy and easily dispersible.</p> |
