A hydroponic grass growing unit comprises an enclosure which accommodates a plurality of horizontal seed bed trays 24 in vertically spaced rows. The floor of the enclosure has a sump 14 containing hydroponic nutrient solution. The trays 24 are supported by a plurality of vertical support posts 28, a plurality of horizontal, vertically spaced rails 27 carried by the posts 28 and channels 29 on the wall of the enclosure for supporting an edge of each tray. <IMAGE> |
