PURPOSE:To provide the title metal plate having excellent lubricity and paintability, and safe to food sanitary, by coating a metal plate with a low-melting fraction obtained by fractionating a hydrogenated liquid vegetable food oil. CONSTITUTION:Food oil such as soybean oil, repessed oil, cotton oil, safflower oil, corn oil, or their mixture, is hydrogenated under selective hydrogenation condition, in the presence of Ni catalyst. The hydrogenated oil is fractionated by direct filtration , solvent fractionation, etc., to obtain a low-melting fraction having a melting point of <=0 deg.C and containing <=20wt% of a dienoic or polyenoic acid. The fraction thus obtained is applied to a metal plate such as chrome-plated steel, tin-plated steel, aluminum alloy, etc., by electrostatic coating, etc., at an areal rate of about 10mg/m<2>. |
