<p>The guide-rail is attached to the top of the upright by means of a bracket reinforced with a welded metal piece. Beneath the guide-rail is a U-shaped slide-rail attached to the upright by means of a metal strip reinforced with welded pieces. The gap between the guide rail and slide-rail is bridged by a slide-strip made of sheet steel about two or three millimetres thick of less resistance than the guide rail and slide rail. The corners of the slide-strip are bent to fit into the guide rail and slide rail to which it is screwed.</p> |
