GLIDE PATH LIGHTING SYSTEM

Glide path lighting system which is provided with a lens and a light source, wherein a screen whether or not constructed as a colour filter is disposed in the focal plane of the lens between the lens and the light source, the lens being provided with a diaphragm which is of such a construction that the portion of the lens near the horizontal centre line is diaphragmed less strongly than the remaining portions of the lens.
