A medicated ointment for the treatment of eczema, acne, ecchymoses and callosities consists of (in pbw) Vaseline RTM 70-30, Salicylic acid 15-40; Beeswax 5-20; Pine Tar 5-15; Honey 5-13; Camphor 3-12; Turpentine 2-10. The beeswax and pine tar are melted at 50-60 degrees and the camphor and turpentine stirred in. The other ingredients are melted at 40-50 degrees and stirred till fluid. both fluid melts are then mixed, stirred and allowed to cool. |
