Granulate is produced by mixing sulphur and/or other suitable inorganic powdery substances (e.g. raw phosphate flour, borax, hydrous alkali carbonates or saltpeter) with products of organic origin (e.g. humus, sewage sludge, blackpeat, manure or guano) (pref. in a moist state), granulating the mixture, heating the granules to a temp. sufficient to melt the inorganic materials, and cooling. |
