The clear transparent plastic is in a number of stiff elastic sections, that fit in the groove of a rubber moulding and against each other. In the assembled state, the joins between the segments can be arranged to run parallel to each other in vertical planes. The segments can be slightly oversize, so that in the assembled state they are bent and pre-loaded.
