PURPOSE:To improve a performance of transmission by holding a throttle pressure at a specified value when a throttle is exceeded over a specified value and by feeding a line pressure to a regulator valve in place of the throttle pressure. CONSTITUTION:The throttle modifier valve 138 is arranged in a circuit of the throttle valve 139 and the regulator valve 128. The throttle modifier valve closes the feeding port 1b when the throttle pressure shows a specified value and the valve starts to open the drain port 1c. As a result, the throttle pressure applied to the regulator valve 128 is kept at a specified value. In a range suitable for performing the engine brake, a line pressure is applied to the circuit 154 from the manual valve 130. Since the pressure is higher than the throttle pressure, the line pressure is applied to the regulator valve 128 from the shuttle valve 8 in place of the throttle pressure. |
