The process for preparing L-phenylalanine by the new strain, MWPEC 12-45 (KAIST, KCTC8336P) is presented. Thus, the above strain is precultured in the medium containing 5% of glucose, 1 of tryptone, 1 of yeast extract, 0.1 of sodium chloride and 10mg/l of kanamycin. The preculture broth is added to the fermeutation medium containing 6% of glucose, 0.04 of potassium sulfate, and 2 of ammonium sulfate etc. at 32≰C for 50-60 hrs.
