发明名称 TENSION CONTROLLER FOR ROLLING MILL
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the finishing shape of the strip, and to reduce the rolling power, by automatically regulating the uncoiling and coiling tensions of the strip mill correspondingly to the difference between speeds of upper and lower reducing rolls of the mill. CONSTITUTION:The strip 3 is uncoiled by the uncoiling reel 4, and is rolled by upper and lower reducing rolls 1, 2, and is coiled by the coiling reel 5. Upper and lower reducing rolls 1, 2, are driven by motors 6, 7, whose speeds are controlled by the speed controllers 10, 11, correspondingly to the speed data being set in the setters 14, 15, for speeds of upper and lower reducing rolls. The uncoiling reel 4 is driven by the motor 8 whose current is controlled by the current controller 12 to a value equal to the set data for the current value to be produced from the current set corrector 18. The corrector 18 takes in the set data for the speed of upper reducing roll 1 from the setter 14, and the set data for the speed of lower reducing roll 2 from the setter 15, and detects the difference between these two set data for speeds of upper and lower reducing rolls 1, 2, and corrects the current being set in the current setter 16 according to above detected diference, and inputs the corrected current data into the current controller 12 as the corrected data to be set. Thus the current of the uncoiling motor 8 is changed according to the speed difference between two reducing rolls 1, 2, and the uncoiling tension is also changed.</p>
