<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the recording speed without increasing the taking out line by dividing the heating elements on one scanning line into blocks every fixed number in the heat sensitive recording scanning system and recording the black image element in the block and the black image elemnt in other block simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:16 Image elements on one line are divided into four blocks of B1, B2, B3, B4. When the block B1 is recorded, the position of the black image element searches for the same other block B3, and makes the fourth block conductive and exothermic. After the recording is completed, the image signal for this image element is converted into the white level. Then, B4 block having black at the same position as the block B2 is sought for and the blocks B2 and B4 are conductive and recorded simultaneously. Similarly, the blocks B3 and B4 are simultaneously recorded. The number of lines taken out from the heat sensitive head is four as for the image element input terminal and 4 as for the control terminal, which totals 8. Accordingly, about half the number of lines of 17 are required for driving every image element, conventionally.</p> |
