PURPOSE:To reduce internal resistance of the battery, by providing a metal net in an anode body and touching the extending flange thereof with the anode can conductively. CONSTITUTION:A metal net 3 with alkali resistance of Ni, Ni plated steel, stainless steel, or silver is deep-drawn so that the depth is equal to the thickness of the anode body 2, the flange is stamped out so that the outside diameter of the flange is equal to the inside diameter of the anode can 1 to form an ash tray like shape. Then the ash tray shaped metal net and prescribed anode material 3 are powder-molded together to form an anode body 2, and the anode body 2 is placed on the inside surface of the bottom of the anode can 1. A separator 6 is put on the body, a gasket 8 is inserted, a prescribed cathode can 4 is pushed in, and the end of the anode can 1 is caulked inward to form a battery. The anode body can be located at the center of the inside bottom surface of the anode can precisely and easily when the battery is fabricated using above mentioned constitution, and the work efficiency is improved. |
