<p>The mechanism forms hanging loops in a transported strip, partic. of textile material in a steam-treatment system. The strip is delivered by a driven feed roller, and there is an endless chain in which bars are detachably supported, these being transported at intervals past the feed roller to take up a loop of strip. Near the feed roller is a driven second endless chain with auxiliary bars, working with the strip. In the sections of the travel paths of the two chains near the feed roller the main and auxiliary bars pass alternately.</p> |
