The pliers are used for forming dental prostheses and enable the required shape of the containing metal strip to be provided by a simple squeezing operation. The tool comprises a holder in the form of a pair of handles (1, 2) provided with an opening spring(4). The top portion has a socket(5) in each side, these receiving the shanks of the half dies used for forming; each shank clips into a spring loaded ball recess. A selection of male and female half dies is supplied, these covering the whole range of teeth in several sizes appropriate for a range of ages. |
