The setting-out device for a turn-and-tilt window or a turn-and-tilt door has a setting-out arm (1) which is fastened to the fixed frame via a scissor-type pivot bearing (2) equipped with a pivot pin (3). The scissor-type pivot bearing (2) is connected via screws to a sliding block which is secured in an anchoring groove of the upper horizontal spar of the fixed frame by means of a pressure screw. The sliding block has a nose which, when the sliding block is mounted, is pushed up against a web of the vertical fixed-frame spar (8). The scissor-type pivot bearing (2) is equipped with a vertical leg provided with an undercut (10) which, in the mounted state, engages behind a web (11) of the vertical fixed-frame spar (8). The mounting of the setting-out device on the fixed frame can be carried out quickly and simply. <IMAGE>
