<p>Assembly comprises (a) 2 parallel sheets of rubbery synthetic open cell polyurethane elastomer foam; (b) 1st and 2nd series of acrylic plastics rods, and 2 series sandwiching the central element (a) and contacting the outer surfaces of the foam sheets; (c) 2 air-permeable outer sheets of interwoven polypropylene fibres; and (d) thermoplastic side frame parts to which rods (b) are secured. Pref. the rods of each series are spaced 0.5-1.5 ins. apart and the rod dias. are 0.125-0.5 in. Frame parts are esp. of polycarbonate. Assembly is readily washable and produces an atmos. contg. increased concn. of -ve ions.</p> |
