<p>A handling installation for spent nuclear fuel elements which arrive in caskets with connections for a coolant circuit, is equipped with two manipulators. These can move the coolant connection in the vertical and horizontal plane by remote control to complete the coolant circuit. This protects the personnel against the possible ill effects of radioactive radiation.</p> |
