<p>Compsn. for treating the scalp consists of alcohol, quinine (I), formalin (II) and menthol (III) distributed on a dry support such as a toilet glove. It is applied e.g. 2-4 times per day. Pref. the alcohol is 40-90 degrees and compsn. contains (per 100g) is not >0.25g (I), is not >0.25g (III) and is not >0.15g (II). A specified compsn. contains 70 degrees alcohol plus (per 100g) 0.1g (I), 0.1g (II) and 0.07g (III). The compsn. is applied to the glove and then rubbed into the area being treated (and adjacent areas); after the last treatment of the day the area is thoroughly rinsed. Compsn. stimulates growth of hair roots and eliminates dandruff and seborrhoea. New hair begins to develop during the 3rd. week of treatment.</p> |
