The partition consists of a plastic U-shaped bow (2) designed so that it can be guided continuously displaceably and fixed on the free longitudinal edge of a profiled longitudinal wall (1) of the drawer. Moulded on the inner limb (4) of the bow transversely to the direction of displacement is a subdividing tab (5). Such a partition is improved in terms of simple assembly of the lever arm (15) of the clamping device (9). For this purpose, an eccentric (10) which can be operated from inside the drawer and protrudes into the interior of the bow is mounted exchangeably in the inner limb (4) of the bow having the subdividing tab.
