PURPOSE:To lower the cooling load of thermoelectric cooling element for condensing and recovering the developer vapor, by providing a heat collecting part equipped with atmosphere take-in port in the heating-fixing part, and capturing the developer vapor at high concentration by high temperature air in the heat collecting part. CONSTITUTION:When a transfer paper P receives fixing action between a heater 1a and a roller 1b, the developer absorbed in the transfer paper P is evaporated by heat, and is released to a heat collecting chamber 2 which is set in negative pressure state by suction fan 11. The air in the heat collecting chamber 2 warmed by the heat of the heater 1a while the transfer paper is not passing captures the solvent vapor at high concentration. The gas containing captured solvent vapor is led into a primary condenser 12 and a secondary condenser 13 using thermoelectric cooling element, and the developer is recovered. Since the developer vapor is captured at high concentration in the air of small quantity and at high temperature, the load of the small-sized thermoelectric cooling element which is easy to control temperature may be lowered. |
