PURPOSE:To stabilize the smaple rotations and to accelerate the rise of the rotations by forming a braking air outlet. CONSTITUTION:A stator 3 for rotatably holding a smaple tube 1 and a rotor 2 is formed with an air port 4 for floating the rotor 2, an air port 6 for turning the rotor 2 and an air port 5 for an air bearing. If compressed air is blown through the port 5 while blowing compressed air through the port 6 to turn the tube 1 in the direction F1, the stator 3 and the tube 1 are held in non-contact, and a rotating force in the direction F2 is imparted to the tube 1. Then, the tube 1 is turned clockwise by the force F1-F2 together with the rotor 2 at a lower rpm than that for the case without any force in the direction F2 so that it is stably turned at a high speed which is reached within a short time after the start.
