PURPOSE:To continuously accomplish the running tests with a low power consumption by using an idler. CONSTITUTION:A friction transmission belt of flat type is made to run as a drive belt 14 upon a shaft 11, which is suported on an upper fixed substrate 9 by means of bearings 13 and 13', flat pulleys P1 and P3, which are attached to a shaft 12 supported by means of bearings 13'' and 13''' upon an upper movable substrate 10 made movable along the adjusting screw rods 22 and 22', an idler 17, which is supported on the upper movable substrate 10, an idler 19 upon a movable back plate 33 of a lower fixed substrate 18 and an idler 21 on a lower fixed substrate 20. A friction transmission belt of toothed belt of V type is made to run as a test belt 15 upon a pulleys P2 and P4. Thus, if the pitch diameters of the pulleys P1 to P4 are denoted at r1 to r4, the relationship of r1:r3 r2:r4. Then, the belt 14 slips to apply the torque to the shafts 11 and 12, and the belt 15 runs under a load. The tensions of the belts 14 and 15 can be adjusted by the movement of the idler 19. |
