An Albada viewfinder has a bright frame produced by a filed mask on the ocular side of the taking lens and a reflecting surround for the side of the ocular facing the mask. Multiple reflections inside the viewfinder provide a bright frame superimposed on the image. The image is derived from light distributed from all over the viewfinder so that a bright image is ensured even in poor illumination. the rays emerging from the middle region of the viewing field and illuminating the field mask (1) are reflected from it (1) to be reflected yet again from the reflective surface (2) of the taking lens (O2).
