<p>The rocker-aor uses a rocking motion reinforced by a lever effect. The blade is supported, approx. vertically, by a spindle passing through the rocker near one end, connected at the top to an eccentric. From there a power arm runs above the top of the rocker, with a guide lug on the latter through a slot in the former. There is a linkage which is connected parallel to the arm. It is flexibly connected to the rocker and remote from the car; there is a lever projecting up through the arm. Both have handles close together. The whole rests on a horizontally rotatable base below the rocker bearing.</p> |
