<p>Stirrup-type loop for rescuing a climber or skier is slidably fastened to a rope. The foot of the rescued person is placed in the loop which is detachably connected to an upper loop section fitted with a member connecting it to the rope. The bottom section of the loop reaches about as far as the user's knee. It is a band of flexible, high tensile material, pref. a nylon strap. Its length can be adjusted by means of a slide buckle.</p> |
