<p>PURPOSE:To provide a welded structure of water turbine, in which one end of the turbine shaft is shaped in a conical form and the shaft and vanes are coupled together by way of welding with said conical end being held in contact with the end faces of guide vanes, whereby shaping of transition at the end portion of the shaft can be facilitated and operation for machining groove and cladding can be eliminated. CONSTITUTION:In manufacturing guide vanes for water turbine and reversible pump-turbine of a welded structure, transition 3 is formed in a conical shape at one end of shaft 1 together with flange 2 prior to welding shaft 1 and vanes 5 together. On the other hand, the vane 5 is formed with groove 6 necessary for welding the vane 5 to the transition 3. With such an arrangement, shart 1, flange 2 and transition 3 can be formed integrally from rolled round steel or forged steel easily by way of machining. Further, in welding the same to vanes 5, conical surface of transition 3 can be used directly as groove, so that operation for machining groove at the portion can be eliminated. Thus, efficiency of operation and reliability of the product can be improved.</p> |
