<p>The machine is applicable to large-scale road works. The cutting roller on the road surface cutting machine, comprising a saddle mounting, is designed for read transport from one site to another without involving loads to wide to move along normal roads. The cutter roller(42), of extra width, is drivably mounted in a roller holder mechanism (32) rotatably mounted on the underside by means of a ball rotating ring (30). It is able to turn through at least 90 deg. about a vertical axis, relative to the saddle mounting (20). The mechanism pref. permits swinging about this axis by hand. This enables the roller to be swung into the direction of travel, for transport along a road.</p> |
