Cutting machine for sleeves or tubes - has slitting discs working from inside and outside, with cut section falling onto support finger

The sleeve or tube is cut through using two slitting discs, (4, 5) which are mounted via flexible couplings to drive shafts (7). The two discs are moved towards one another, the edges of the slitting discs overlapping by a small amount, so that the sharp 'V' edges just miss one another. During cutting, the sleeve or tube is supported on rollers (2, 3). The rings or sections which have been cut off are removed by an extension (10) and supported on a finger (8).
