The cutting disc has a motor housing and is displaceable through an opening in a stop plate, with two stop faces at right angles parallel to the opening length. This produces circular-section-shaped grooves for connecting dowels. The stop plate with the cutter exit opening has two separated continuations (13), aligned vertically to the opening lengthways extension. One bounding surface of these lies in a plane with the plate base stop surface, with outside stop faces running vertically to the opening's length and to the base stop face and crossing over into stop faces on the plate.
