The X-ray appts. has methods for taking divided phtographics, and a number of masking plates adjustable in relation to each other, determining the cross-Section of the radiation area in both the vertical and horizontal directions. There are two such plates (8, 9), sliding in opposite directions in parallel planes past each other, on opposite sides of the radiation area (6), and so as to interchange position. They can be U-shaped, the U's being open towards opposite directions.
