The foot-exercising machine for bed-ridden patients consists of two spring-loaded pedals (1, 2) which are vertically and movably mounted on a frame (3). The frame (3) supporting the pedals (1, 2) has a slide carriage (5) which can be adjusted along the lengthwise direction of the bed in a framework (7) fixed to the foot of the bed (12). The framework (7) is inserted between the mattress (11) and the foot (12) of the bed by means of an arm (9) which points vertically downwards. The slide carriage (5) moves along a guide on the framework (7) which has a slat (13) with holes in. A spring-loaded pin (14) fits into the holes of the slide carriage (5).
