The switch (1) is intended for a motorcycle mounted radio, radio-telephone or tape cassette recorder. The respective apparatus housing (3) has a large actuator (4) on its surface (2). The tipping axis (5) of the actuator lies in the housing surface, and the oscillator can be reset into its rest position automatically. For this purpose a resetting spring (6) abuts the housing and reaches underneath the actuator. To the latter may be allocated a switching element (7) which can assume a rest and a switching position respectively, while being decoupled from the actuator in its rest position. The switching element may be held in a flexible diaphragm (8), closing a housing aperture (9). The switching element may break a light carrier (10) in one of its positions.
