PURPOSE:To obtain a vitamin pharmaceutical stable to moisture, temperature, and light, by coating one or two or more types of vitamin K, folic acid and vitamin B12 with a coating agent of a hardened oil and an emulsifying agent in combination. CONSTITUTION:A vitamin pharmaceutical comprising (A) 1 part by wt. of one or more types of powder selected from vitamin K, folic acid, and vitamin B12, which are easily decomposed by light, temperature, etc., or diluted, and (B) 1-200 parts by wt. of a coating agent consisting of (a) a fat and oil having a melting point of 40-90 deg.C and (b) an oil-soluble emulsifying agent. Hardened beef tallow or lard may be cited as (a). One or two or more types of lecithin, glycerol monoesters or sugar esters of fatty acids may be used as (b) in an amount of 0.1-1 part by wt. per part by wt. of (a). The product is powdered by an atomizer to give a readily handleable powder. |
