PURPOSE:To miniaturize a unit with the number of multiplexers reduced by arranging supervisory contacts at intersections of a matrix, by performing sequencial sampling of rows of columns of the matrix, and by encoding outputs appearing on columns or rows. CONSTITUTION:Supervisory contacts (a00)-(a07), (a10)-(a17)... (a70)-(a77) are arranged on a matrix between decoder DEC connected to counter CNT of an information coding circuit which sends information out to a maintenance station by collecting and editing trouble information of a telephone switching facility and encoder ENC connected to register REG. Between encoder ENC and power supply +V, pull-up resistances R0-R7 are connected so as to apply clocks from counter CNT to the decoder through inverter INV, and outputs 0-7 of decoder DEC are outputted in sequence to rows of columns of the matrix. Then, register REG is triggered by the output of counter CNT to encode outputs appearing on rows or columns by encoder ENC, thereby setting coded signals to register REG. |
